I don't write about one thing. Not just about gardening. Not just about cooking. Not just about my family.
I rarely write about things that are in the Bible that I believe. But, something recently brought an issue to my attention that I feel strongly about. I am working with my husband on a post about this issue.
Wish you knew what it is? You might not once you read it. Hopefully soon...

Charley's Birthday
Since her mom asked, here are pictures from our niece's first birthday party held over Easter weekend. It was at a hotel in Ocean City in the penthouse. Here's the view south from our living room...
It was cold, but pretty. The next day it was hot and beautiful, but we had to go home :(
I made a cupcake cake, but I'm not an artist. I realized after I had it carved, iced a crumb coat, and frozen that I should have carved the base narrower. Oh well, it tasted good. I copied napkins we used at the party for the design.
Charley seemed to like it okay.
And Averie.
Aves also liked playing the drum.
Charley had a bunch of presents to open and got bored about half-way through.
Now she's one :)

Starbucks Free Coffee for Earth Day
In case you didn't hear, you can take your own cup to Starbucks tomorrow and get it filled with brewed coffee for free! They're celebrating the earth and trying to encourage use of personal cups to save some trees :) Hit them up on April 14, 2010.

Easter pics.
Better late than never, right? I think I edited about 32 pictures, and posted them on FB, but am going to limit myself to fewer on here.
We spent Saturday through Sunday morning in a penthouse on the beach celebrating my niece's first birthday. For some reason, those pictures didn't end up in my edit pile, I'll have to go look for them.
Sunday, we went to breakfast at Panera, like usual, then had a great service at church. This was the first Sunday with our bass player, and it was also the first Sunday that I felt comfortable again with my drumming. It had been a while since I had been part of a team leading worship. It was a very good service.
We had lunch at my sister's house, and did an egg hunt.
After we went home, their newly one year old cousin came over and we took matching dress pictures.

That was all. A nice weekend. Busy. Fun. Now, we're enjoying the 87* weather before the rain comes.

The answer
Okay, sorry to have not answered sooner about the baby. I really wanted to include our ultrasound pictures - we got a 4D one! But, I haven't set my Mac up for the scanner, and Troy's been so busy preparing a presentation for work, we haven't scanned them. So, I'll just surprise you soon with them :)
The answer is...No, we didn't find out the sex of the baby. It was so tempting, each time the tech asked us to close our eyes, to just peak a little. I've had enough ultrasounds that I can tell what a girl looks like. But, I didn't peak. Really!
I'll leave you with a picture from our weekend. An easter picture of the girls and their cousin in their matching dresses.

Our Ultrasound
We had the 20 week ultrasound for our baby today. It's not quite 20 weeks, and the baby is back to measuring due August 24. (that was our origional due date, but since we transfered 2 3-day embryos and 1 5-day embryo, it could be August 22. since that's how the baby was measuring, that's what we went with.)
Oh well, I'm still sticking with the 22nd.
We got some great pics of the baby. I'll show them, after Troy has time to scan them for me. I haven't had time to add the scanner program to the Mac.
Oh, did we find out if we're having a boy or girl?
Well...
